Cuisine with a regional focus
This is how the small guesthouse grew into a stately family hotel. Stagnancy has never been an option in the Lohninger house. Already the grandparents invested heavily in the renovation and extension of the hotel with more rooms and a larger restaurant in order to keep up with the times. This pioneering spirit was continued by Franz Lohninger when he took over the hotel Lohningerhof in 1992 and modernised it with a new lounge, a classy reception, a light-flooded hall with fireplace, a garden, a pampering oasis and 40 comfortable rooms. Today, Franz stands by his daughter Christine as a true Pinzgau host.
The new woman in charge has brought fresh ideas to the four-star hotel Lohningerhof: With the nonchalant Roof Top Lounge with a panoramic pool and a sauna with a view of the Hochkönig, a new building with 14 modern rooms and the extension of the stylish pampering oasis, Christine has prepared the hotel for the future.
The host family Lohninger can proudly look back on the history and development of the hotel. At the same time, the youngest generation of hosts comes up with new ideas to make sure that guests at the familially run hotel Lohningerhof can feel comfortable now and in the future.
