Where do you come to visit us from?
Motorway A8 heading towards Salzburg - at the Inntal junction continue on the motorway A93 towards Kufstein - exit Siegsdorf (Oberaudorf), continue on the Bundesstraße 172 - border crossing (no toll sticker needed) - Lofer - Saalfelden - Maria Alm.
Alternatively you can also take the exit Kufstein Süd on the motorway A93. But then you will have to buy a toll sticker. Continue via St. Johann/Tirol - Fieberbrunn - Hochfilzen - Leogang - Saalfelden. At the first roundabout (Interspar) turn off in the direction of Maria Alm.
Just 120 metres after entering Maria Alm, you will find the hotel Lohningerhof on the left-hand side.
Motorway A1 heading towards Salzburg - exit Wals on the B1 - Walserberg - via the “small German corner” you will continue towards Bad Reichenhall - Lofer - Saalfelden - Maria Alm.
Alternatively you can change to the motorway A10 after Salzburg (Salzburg Süd). Then take the exit Bischofshofen. Follow the B164 “Hochkönigstraße” to Maria Alm.
The hotel Lohningerhof is located on the left-hand side of the road around 120 metres after the sign indicating the start of Maria Alm.
Will you arrive by plane?
The nearest international airport is in Salzburg (approx. 70 km). From here you can take public transport (bus line 260 to Saalfelden) or a taxi to get to us.
Shuttle transfers from/to the airport are e.g. offered by Taxi Eder.
Will you arrive by train?
The nearest major railway station is in Saalfelden (approx. 7 km).
From here you can take public transport to Maria Alm or let a taxi take you directly to the hotel. A taxi rank can be found right at the railway station. The railway station in Saalfelden is served daily.
