Doing great activities with children of their own age and collecting unforgettable holiday moments: The children’s programme in the Hochkönig region in the Salzburger Land is just the right thing for everyone who loves to discover new things. Certified pedagogues will take all children from the age of 4 out to experience exciting adventures in the natural surroundings of the Hochkönig.

Let the summer cable cars make your way up easier - you can ride for free with the Hochkönig Card. For example, you can go up to Prince Mountain with the Natrun cable car directly from Maria Alm. Many attractions can be explored here: Climbing in the forest ropes course, jaunty fun in the forest slides park, the panoramic Prince’s lake, and an adventure playground will not only let children’s hearts beat faster!

Archery & Wild animal enclosure

On the Jufenalm, about 1 hour by foot from the mountain station Natrun or also accessible by car, you can watch animals of the Alps such as deers, roes, mouflons, and rabbits in their natural surroundings. The wild animal enclosure is open all year round. Archers, or those who want to become one, try their hand at the 3D archery course at Jufen.

Swing park or alpine playground?!

Swing, play, marvel at the Gabühel or let off steam at Toni's alpine playground on the Karbachalm.

At Gabühel, Austria's first swing park is waiting to be visited at over 1,600 m above sea level with 2 spectacular waterfall swings, 4 giant swings and a playground area of ​​more than 600 m². The Gabühelbahn in Dienten and the Hochmaisbahn in Hinterthal guarantee easy access to the swing paradise.

A panoramic playground with water and sand, a climbing tower, slacklines and other great play stations? This is Toni’s alpine playground on the Karbachalm. The grown-ups can watch the action in a relaxed manner from the catered terrace. Afterwards, you can demonstrate your racing skills when you head into the valley on the gravel track in a mountain cart.
